Using the beasts is free and free in combat themes, however, if you want to access the champions you will have to associate with a nation and fight on its behalf after issuing your citizenship.

Choose well the nation to which you want to join, each one has its individual advantages. The factions feed on the actions of their users and feudal lords, give prestige to your homeland, those who lead the lists will receive commercial bonuses.

There are a total of 6 factions around the globe in the initial story of Eden Genus, each with unique characteristics. As such you can always use the same deck in your crusades but the most interesting thing is to cross the champions of different peoples and generate synergies.
